Janette Manrara: ‘He’s gonna be amazing’ Strictly 2019 pro ‘reveals’ celebrity partner

Janette Manrara, 35, appeared very excited to get stuck into the new series of Strictly Come Dancing as she uploaded some behind-the-scenes videos to her Instagram.

In one video, the professional dancer was seen dressed up in her glamorous costume, along with heavy make-up.

Teasing her celebrity partner, she said: “Can’t tell you guys who it is… Right there is my new celeb partner.”

Grinning away from the camera, she added: “I’m looking at him.”

She praised the celebrity: “He’s doing so good, he’s gonna be amazing.”

Janette went on to share another video and wrote on it: “My partner is…”

The star, who is married to fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Aljaž Škorjanec, teased her followers more before the big reveal.

“Guys, I’m gonna be really cheeky and tell you who my new dance partner is on Strictly Come Dancing,” she said, before adding: “Are you ready?”

Janette then panned the camera to show off the famous star – her former celebrity partner, Jake Wood.

The EastEnders star, who plays Max Branning in the BBC One soap, beamed away next to the Strictly Come Dancing professional.

Jake joked: “They’ve actually bought me back as a pro!”

Janette laughed as Jake continued: “They’ve given me a partner and I can’t tell you who it is yet.”

He added: “I’m super excited, see you on the dance floor!”

Jake and Janette reached the semi-final of the BBC One competition five years ago.

Janette will find out who her real celebrity partner is on this year’s series on Saturday night’s launch show.

Meanwhile, Janette and Aljaz shared some exciting news with their fans this week.

The dancers revealed they will be bringing back their tour titled “Remembering The Oscars”.

Janette uploaded a promotional picture of the two of them along with the caption: “Cannot wait to see you there! @rememberingtour Pre-sale tickets are going on sale at the individual venues & theatres on Wednesday, Sept 6th at 10am!

“General tickets go on sale Friday, Sept 9th at 10am through @ticketmaster! Excited is an understatement!”
