Kevin Clifton suggests wedding song after Stacey Dooley sparks engagement claims

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton sparked engagement rumours after the documentary-maker was spotted out wearing a ring on that finger.

And the Strictly Come Dancing professional clearly has weddings on his mind, suggesting a first dance song for a couple on Twitter.

Because he’s helpful like that.

The 36-year-old was asked: ‘If a person were getting married and wanted to tango as a first dance, can you suggest a @TheWho tune to do it to?? Bear in mind we are in our fifties (we would take lessons).’

Taking time out of his busy schedule, he promptly replied: ‘Pinball Wizard would be great.’

What a total banger!

Kevin – who was previously married to BBC One co-star Karen Clifton – set tongues wagging as he headed out with Stacey earlier this week.

The pair headed out for doughnuts in Notting Hill, with two pals, and the 32-year-old donned a band on her engagement finger for the occasion.

Stacey first met Kevin last year, when they were paired up for the 2018 series of Strictly – later going on to take home the Glitterball trophy.

A possible wedding might be a little speedy for the dancing champions – who started dating after the journalist’s split from ex Sam Tucknott.

But the lovebirds have been moving quickly with their whirlwind romance.

In fact, it has been claimed Stacey had moved in to the professional dancer’s London home, after leaving the flat she shared with Sam.

‘Stacey needed somewhere else to live. Kevin has been really relaxed about letting her stay and so far it’s working really well,’ an insider told the Sun.

‘Stacey is not sure whether she’ll stay for good but for now it’s a good place for her to set up base.’
