Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips heartbroken as her dog dies as she pays tribute

Shaughna Phillips is heartbroken as she revealed her dog has passed away, as she shared a selection of lovely pictures of her beloved pet on Instagram.
The Love Island star, 27, took the opportunity to say goodbye to her "darling boy" on social media as she revealed he helped her family through the hard times after she lost her father.
"Sweet dreams my darling boy, thank you for the memories and for getting my family through the hardest times of our lives," she wrote on Instagram, after revealing her major weight loss following the decision to go on a health kick.
Shaughna then touched on losing her father as she added: "Give my daddy a big sloppy kiss from all of us, he’ll be so happy to see you."
Many waded in to support the TV star as Vicky Pattison posted a love heart emoji, before her Full Monty co-star Jake Quickenden added two more underneath.
Coleen Nolan also added a crying face emoji with a love heart while one fan commented: "So sorry he’s beautiful x."
Another shared: "So sorry for your loss sweetheart xx," followed by another follower who said: "losing a pet is the most hardest thing ever."
Shaughna's pictures showed her beautiful dog sitting in the front seat of the car and another where he was sleeping on a sofa with a blanket.
It comes after Shaughna showed off her weight loss after revealing she had gained two stone over lockdown.
The 27 year old told fans that she was a size 14 after being a size eight when she rose to fame last January.
Shaughna has been sharing her health kick with fans and she posted a picture of herself enjoying a day out last year next to a selfie where she wore a crop top and thong.
While she looked gorgeous in both photos, Shaughna explained on Instagram: "Not at the finish line, but far from the starting line."
Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan penned: "Smashing it babe."
Demi Jones then wrote: "LOOK AT YOU!! Beautiful before and after my girl."
"LOOK AT YOU GIRL. Gorgeous as always! I can see the glow," Olivia Bowen added.
