Lucy Alexander: ‘My life is ruined’ Homes Under The Hammer star fumes on Twitter

Lucy Alexander, 48, updated he Twitter fans with how her day was going yesterday, and it wasn’t good news.

The former Homes Under The Hammer host was furious after she got two parking tickets, totalling £90.

Lucy took responsibility for the first charge, but was angry about the second as it stated she had parked incorrectly.

She told her 24,900 followers: “Got parking ticket no.1 because of blatant lateness. £30 fine. Will take that.

“THEN moved it to a car parking bay and appaz so the letter says parked it incorrectly, WHAT?”(sic).

Lucy added: “There were cameras watching my every move & have now been slapped with a sixty quidder £90 total bill.”

The TV star’s Twitter followers responded giving her advice, with one suggesting tucking into her favourite sweets.

One person replied: “Have a large wine or 2 and eat a bag of Percy pigs, Lucy they are just crooks xxx.”

However, Lucy is no longer a fan of the Percy Pigs after a change in the ingredients, which has “ruined” her life.

She responded: “Can’t eat the new ones – my life is ruined #percypigs.”

Another wrote a comment in reply to Lucy’s tweet: “Don’t they know you are the lovely Lucy Alexander? Things like this should NOT happen to you – you’re too lovely.”

Lucy joked: “Can you write to them,” alongside laughing emojis.

The night before, Lucy enjoyed some time with her pals Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford at the launch of Lizzie Cundy’s new book in London.

The star shared a photo of the three of them together yesterday walking to the venue.

She captioned the snap: “A great night out on the town celebrating with my besties @ruthlangsford @eamonnholmes.

“@lizziecundy book launch was brilliant #talesfromtheredcarpet loved being back at #trampnightclub too!”

In another post, Lucy said she enjoyed some food with the This Morning presenters at The Stafford restaurant which she called London’s “best kept secret”.

She said next to a picture of them standing outside the eatery: “Great end of the evening, dinner & drinks with my lovely mates @eamonnholmes @ruthlangsford at the @thestaffordlondon.

“Thanks @procterstuart for your best kept secret in London #thestaffordlondon.”

Homes Under The Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One at 10am.
