Mark and Michelle Keegan fans confused by circular cream sofa in refurbed £3.5m mansion

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have confused fans with their unconventional circular sofa.

The pair, who spent years renovating their £3.5 million Essex mansion, have an Instagram page dedicated to their home.

In a recent snap shared to the account, Mark and Michelle who is set to star in a new Netflix drama– showcased their unique round, cream sofa that hugged a small circular table.

“One of our beautiful sofas and pillow collection by @bellahomeinteriors this one is in our kitchen lounge area,” they wrote alongside the snap.

“Will show you the others soon.”

The unconventional piece of furniture has received a mixed reaction from the celebrity couple’s followers however, with some saying it makes their house look “unhomely”.

“Doesn’t look very comfortable,” said one person of the sofa, as someone else said: “Looks like a 5 star hotel not homely all staged”.

“Nope, too bland and I wouldn’t dream of sitting on it in dark jeans,” a third went on, while a fourth labelled it as “unpractical”.

Meanwhile, others came to Mark and Michelle’s defence.

One of their fans quipped: “No ones having an egg and bacon sandwich on there!! But it looks beautiful”.

Echoiong similar sentiments, someone else wrote: “Gorgeous and beautifully styled but I’d be too scared to mark anything”.

Another added: “It looks beautiful & comfy I hope you enjoy entertaining friends sitting together @wrightyhome with Michelle. Ignore the negative”.

Through Mark and Michelle’s labour of love, their Essex property – which they bought for £1.3 million in 2019 – has almost doubled in value and is now thought to be worth an eye-watering £3.5 million.

The celebrity duo have long been showing off their beautiful home, with the exterior being compared to the house in Home Alone over the festive period as a result of its beautiful Christmas decorations.

Taking to Instagram to document the arctic deluge of powder white snow in December, Mark shared a short video that showed the scale of the snowfall blanketing his home.

In the clip, several centimetres of snow could be seen coating the ground and trees, while snow continued to fall from the sky.

Resembling a festive scene from a Christmas card, the home’s elaborate holiday lighting provided a pop of colour to the garden, with plenty of green, orange and yellow lights illuminating the exterior of the house.
