Steve Bing Was ‘Nearly Broke’ When He Died, Despite Being Heir to $600 Million Fortune

A new report is claiming that Steve Bing was worth just $300,000 when he died earlier this year, despite inheriting a massive $600 million fortune when he was 18.

The 55-year-old movie producer/financier and businessman died by suicide in June and his daughter, Kira Bonder, has been placed in charge of his estate.

“Only about $300,000 is left in liquid assets, which was meant to be bequeathed to the Clinton Foundation, and that’s before debts are settled. Bing also was the father of an 18-year-old son named Damian was his ex Elizabeth Hurley.

While honoring his memory recently, Elizabeth revealed that Steve gave a lot of his fortune to charity.

“He was a good man. He gave to so many good causes,” she told Extra. “He was a philanthropist at heart and when we were together, which was a very long time ago, more than 18 years ago, I loved him very much. So I really hope people will retain fond memories of him.”

Damian spoke out in a statement back in June after his father’s death.
