Susan Boyle 2019: ‘If he thinks I’m sexy’ BGT star reveals the man she is ‘really after’
Susan Boyle, 58, joined presenters Angela Scanlon and Amol Rajan on the sofa for BBC’s The One Show, where the singer revealed her dream features amid her musical comeback. The Britain’s Got Talent star hinted she would like to work with British rockstar Rod Stewart, 74, but only if he thinks she’s “sexy”. Host Angela asked the Scottish native: “I saw earlier in the week that you were potentially in cahoots with Lewis Capaldi about a new supergroup?” Susan quipped: “Damn it,” as if her plans had been let out of the bag. Before Angela probed: “But Rod Stewart is really the one you’re after isn’t it?”
The I Dreamed A Dream singer replied: “Maybe,” seemingly not wanting to give any further information away.
The One Show host questioned the star further asking: “Is he on the list?”
Before Susan cheekily responded: “Only if he thinks I’m sexy,” before adding a chuckle and a wink.
Her appearance on the show comes after the singer made her musical comeback and released her latest album Ten.
Susan has revealed who she has collaborated with on the album and it is none other than singer Michael Ball on a brand new track.
Alongside a video of her and Michael waving, the upload she said in view of her 33,400 followers: “When Susan and @MichaelBall surprised the @TheRockChoir and announced they would be collaborating on ‘A Million Dreams’.
“What a grand entrance!”
Taking to Instagram today, Susan shared the news of her album release and told fans to go and listen to it.
In the video she said: “Hi, it’s Susan Boyle. My new album Ten comes out today.
“I’ve enjoyed making it and I hope you enjoy listening to it. And don’t forget to tune in on Sunday night for BGT.”
Fans rushed to comment on the post, as one person said: “Congratulations Susan on your continued success!”
Another person commented: “Wooo well done cant wait to hear it.”
While third person added: “YAY! Going to listen to it right now!”
Elsewhere, Susan revealed she is taking on the new challenge of learning how to ride a bike as part of her bucket list before turning 60.
The singer told The Sun: “I thought about the things I’ve missed out on before.
“I’m approaching 60 but who cares. I live a comfortable life and deserve to enjoy it. Mum never had enough money for a bike.”
