This Morning’s Holly Willoughby reveals she’s suffering from extreme mood swings amid coronavirus lockdown

Speaking to her co-host Phillip Schofield as they began Monday’s This Morning, Holly Willoughby admitted that she was feeling "desperately sad" after spending the weekend in coronavirus isolation.

The mother-of-three told viewers that she was switching between feeing really sad or very happy and wanted to return to a "happy medium”.

Holly, 38, said: "I swing between, there's no medium ground. I'm either ridiculously, euphorically happy or desperately sad and I don't know what to do. I just want a medium ground."

She also jokingly said that it feels "like all the adults have left the building” as the country deals with the coronavirus outbreak, while Phil admitted: "It's all driving us crazy. We're all going slightly mad."

Holly was dressed in a blue shirt and black trousers with black heels for Monday’s instalment of This Morning and took her own outfit selfie before the show.

She captioned her snap on Instagram: “Morning Monday… stay at home and stay with us… see you at 10am on @thismorning … trousers by @jcrew shirt by @reiss.”

While Holly is suffering from low moments, Phillip revealed he spent Saturday night having a boozy night in.

He documented himself pouring a delicious gin and tonic complete with ice and a slice of lemon. He showed it off on Instagram stories, alongside the caption: “I mean… f***k it!”

However, seconds later he decided to abandon his carefully made G&T and instead hilariously swig directly from the massive bottle.

Phillip's video began with him casually dressed in a white T-shit standing in his kitchen. He pours himself some raspberry infused Manchester gin over ice and lemon, before adding the Fevertree tonic.

He then lifts the drink as if to sip it but pauses just at the last moment and changes his mind and he puts the drink down to pick up the huge bottle to drink from, making a ridiculous face as he does so.

The much-loved TV star’s boozy fun could have been hair of the dog owing to the fact that his wife Stephanie celebrated her 56th birthday with him and their two daughter Molly, 27, and Ruby, 24, on Friday.
