IT’S that time of the year when shops slash their prices and everyone goes mad in the Boxing Day sales.
While some are updating their wardrobes for 2023, others are still in the Christmas spirit and searching for the perfect party dress for New Year’s Eve.
One TikTok user has wowed the internet with her high street little black dress, and people can’t believe it’s from Primark.
Catrina Hogg excitedly shared her purchase with her 73,000 followers on Boxing Day.
She captioned her short clip: “Run to Primark ladies and gents, that is all x.”
“I have actually been shopping today, which is the first time I’ve been into town in the longest time,” she confesses.

“I must admit when I first got into town I was thinking, ‘is this a good idea?’ because it was so busy.
“And then I went into Primark and was like, ‘are you joking me?’”
Catrina, who boasts long blonde hair held back over her shoulders with a stretchy headband, continues: “Now, I was going to do a Zara haul first but actually I’m going to do a Primark haul.
“I have got the most unbelievable bits but there’s a main event piece which I’m going to show you first,” she teases.

Catrina confesses that she’s working on New Year’s Eve, but she saw the little black dress in Primark and had to buy it.
“I know that bows and stuff are really in at the moment,” she explains, holding the mini dress up to the camera. “Guys, this is from Primark.”

The sweet fitted dress features a giant ribbon-style black bow at chest level and two skinny black straps which adjust for comfort and fit.
“I can’t believe it,” she gushed. “It was £16 and I got it in a size eight.
“I’m not going to lie to you, I was that excited, I’ve tried it on already.
“Run to Primark guys, can you actually believe it? £16.”
Catrina’s followers were so impressed by her purchase and flocked to the comments to praise her.
“You look unreal,” gushed one user.
“Woah you’re so gorgeous,” exclaimed another.
In another clip, Catrina treats her followers to a try-on. She slips on her new dress and smiles ear-to-ear and she poses in front of the camera.

“This is the dress on, how amazing is it?” she smiles. “For reference, I’m five foot one. So don’t worry about it being too long or anything – or too short.
“It’s so stunning, I’m obsessed.”
