Sharing snaps of her mouthwatering dessert to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the woman said that she 'just wanted a really simple cheesecake', and shared step-by-step instructions for anyone wanting to try it themselves.

Inundated with requests, she later shared a full list of ingredients used to whip up the dreamy Oreo cheesecake and it's really not that difficult.

But you will need patience and a whole lot of self-control as you need to keep it refrigerated overnight before being able to enjoy it.

In the post, she said: "Here for those that asked for ingredients"

What you need:

150g chocolate (melted)

1 Philadelphia creamy cheese

250/300g double cream

1 spoon of lemon juice

172g of oreo biscuit

30/40g of butter (melted)

And listed 150g chocolate (melted), 1 Philadelphia creamy cheese, 250/300g double cream, 1 spoon of lemon juice, 172g of Oreo biscuit and 30/40g of butter (melted).

She also revealed that she  removed all the cream from the Oreo biscuits and added it to the cream cheese mix.

Now that sounds delicious.

The woman suggested melting the chocolate first by placing a heatproof bowl over a pot of boiling water and stirring until the chocolate has completely melted.

While it's cooling, you can make a start on the biscuit base by blending the Oreo biscuits in a food processor until it forms crumbs.

Then add in the butter and blend again until the two ingredients are combined.

She also says you can do it by hand if you don't have a food processor at home.

To do so, add the biscuits to a zip lock bag and crush the them by hand – later adding melted butter to and stir together until it's mixed.

To make the base, press the mixture into a springform cake tin using the back of a spoon, and pop it in the fridge while you whip up the filling.

For the cream cheese filling, you have to beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until soft, then fold in the melted chocolate from earlier.

Then whip the double cream until light and fluffy, folding it into the chocolate and cream cheese mixture.

Add the lemon juice and the vanilla, folding as you go, before adding the entire mixture into the biscuit base.

And there you have it – an easy Oreo cheesecake to make from home.
