Cheers! Celebrate National Rosé Day With These Tasty Wines

Finally, a legitimate reason to drink rosé all day! National Rosé Day is on Saturday, June 8, which means it’s totally fine to pour a glass (or two) of the pink drink and celebrate the holiday in style.

In honor of the special occasion, Us Weekly has rounded up a handful of tasty of rosés that are worth sipping. The list includes a mix of new releases and old staples.

For example, one wine – LVE French Sparkling Rosé – made its debut earlier this week, just in time for the occasion. The libation is the latest offering from Legend Vineyard Exclusives, John Legend’s wine label. “I’m so excited to add some sparkle to the 2019 Summer of LVE,” the EGOT winner said in a statement shared with Us. “LVE Sparkling Rosé is the perfect addition to your summer celebrations. Just like with all of my creative endeavors, my approach to winemaking is to collaborate with the best and trying to make something magical.”

The wine itself is described as “unique and fruity.” It joins a lineup of LVE wines that already includes a still rosé, a chardonnay, a Cabernet Sauvignon and a red blend.

The 2018 Smoke Tree Rosé, on the other hand, is a bit more balanced. It boasts notes of fresh strawberry, passion fruit and lemon, making it an ideal companion to vibrant salads, artisanal grains and grilled local seafood.
