Inside Geri Horners husband Christians star-studded 50th birthday with Take That performer
Geri Horner has shared photos from inside the incredible star-studded bash that she organised for husband Christian Horner's 50th birthday.
Spice Girl Geri, 51, arranged a surprise party for her Formula One Team Principal husband at Mount St restaurant in Mayfair, with a guest list that would put most awards ceremonies to shame.
Her fans couldn't believe the A-list gathering of friends as she shared photos of them taking part in a singalong led by Take That star Gary Barlow.
Gary, wearing a white suit that matched Geri's white maxi dress, took centre stage at the piano in one picture as he sang to the party.
In another snap, Geri joined Gary at the piano with Spice Girls co-star Emma Bunton and superstar friends Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood as they all sang with him.
Geri captioned the photos: "A surprise belated birthday celebration for @christianhorner And the Supergroup! @officialgarybarlow, you’re amazing!"
Christian also shared a photo of himself and Geri with Gary, Emma and her husband Jade Jones, Ronnie and his wife Sally Humphreys, and Rod and his wife Penny Lancaster posing by the piano.
He wrote: "Last night my lovely wife @gerihalliwellhorner completely surprised me with a totally unexpected dinner with some lovely friends. Looks like we’re forming a band."
One fan commented: "Rod Stewart, Gary Barlow, 2 Spice Girls and a Rolling Stone – this is my kinda party!"
Someone else added: "Hey look, it's Spice That! Or Take Girls…"
Another person joked: "I’d definitely pay to see that band," while someone else agreed: "In fairness, I’d pay ‘Madonna price’ tickets to see this group!"
Someone else commented: "That’s quite a crew!"
The guest list also included Christian's Formula One pal Bernie Ecclestone and his wife Fabiana Flosi.
Christian's actual birthday was 16 November, but as the Formula One season finished at the weekend with his team celebrating success in winning 21 races out of 22, he finally found time to celebrate this week.
The party included a huge three-tiered birthday cake decorated with the words "World Champion" and with sparkler candles on the top.
Geri's photos showed her looking adoringly at Christian as he was surprised by the dinner party, and the guests were later seen smiling as they left the exclusive restaurant.
