Here, FEMAIL breaks down every look worn by the Duchess of Cambridge this week.

DAY ONE

LANDING IN BELIZE IN COLOURS OF THE FLAG

The Duchess of Cambridge cut a chic figure in a royal blue dress and matching purse, while the Duke looked smart in a grey suit and tie as they received a warm official welcome at the Belize airport

Kate wore a blue outfit by designer Jenny Packham and William opted for a light-blue coloured suit as they arrived at Belize City Airport in an RAF Voyager jet to kick off their tour.

In a nod to the Belize flag, she wore a gorgeous cobalt blue lace dress by Jenny Packham with Emmy London’s ‘Rebecca’ pumps in the same shade. She’s also carried a scallop trim clutch bag and wearing jewellery from Princess Diana’s collection.

It’s not the first time Kate has worn this vibrant shade having sported it recently at the Commonwealth Day Service.

DAY TWO

VISIT CACAO FARM IN BELIZE

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited a family-run cacao farm on the second day of their Caribbean tour – with the couple later showing off their dance moves much to the delight of Belize crowds

To add an extra touch of blue, Kate donned £55 statement blue textile earrings from trendy French brand Sézane

The couple began their tour of the chocolate production at the firm’s 10-acre farm, one of a number of plots they cultivate, and were shown the cocoa trees laden with fruit

She’s known for her prowess at diplomatic dressing, and the Duchess of Cambridge once again showed she’s mastered the art by donning the colours of Belize’s flag on day two of her Caribbean tour with Prince William.

William and Kate kicked off the second date of their tour by indulging their love of music and chocolate as they were shown around the Maya cacao farm in the coastal town of Hopkins in a last-minute addition to their schedule on Sunday.

Literal dressing involves turning up at an event and taking the theme of the occasion very literally, such as turning up to a sailing event in a nautical blouse or at Wimbledon in tennis-whites inspired chic as Kate has done.

Proponents use it as a way to show support for the event they’re attending or place they’re visiting.

So it was no wonder to see Kate, 40, in a £500 red and blue floral midi-dress by Tory Burch, the colours of Belize’s flag, for the occasion.

She finished off her look with a fan-shaped clutch bag by British designer Anya Hindmarch, which she had recycled from a look during her tour of Canada with William back in 2011.

And to add an extra touch of blue, she donned £55 statement blue textile earrings from trendy French brand Sézane.

And she recycled her trusty nude platform wedges by Stuart Weitzman, her go-to footwear for any summery events or outings.

The look – and adventurous itinerary – prompted royal fans to say Kate was channelling Lara Croft, a character brought to life on screen by Angelina Jolie in the films Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Rider: The Temple Of Life.

Kate and William, 39, kickstarted their busy itinerary yesterday – the third day of their Caribbean tour – with a visit to the Mayan archaeological site Caracol.

And when the couple shared a picture of their trip to Instagram, many fans compared the Duchess to fictional character and the main protagonist of the video game franchise Tomb Raider, who was famously played by Angelina Jolie in the 2001 film.

She later swapped her khaki jungle outfit for a floor-length shimmering gown by royal favourite designer The Vampire’s Wife.

The royal previously cut a relaxed figure when climbing Belize’s most spectacular Mayan ruins alongside the Duke of Cambridge.

The Duchess swept her lengthy brunette locks behind her shoulders for the occasion, showing off the full pink glittering gown and her dangling earrings in all their glory.

The earrings, which had a small circle attached to the ear and a second patterned circle hanging off them – were made of uncut crystal stones.
