Giovani Lo Celso considering quitting Spurs just four months after loan transfer with Mourinho not keen – The Sun

GIOVANI LO CELSO is considering quitting Spurs just four months after joining, according to reports.

The 23-year-old Argentina midfielder, on loan from Real Betis, signed for Tottenham under fellow countryman Mauricio Pochettino.

Things looked promising when he made three appearances from the bench in Spurs' first four games of the season.

But then ex-boss Poch – who will reportedly have to pay his former employer £12.5m if he takes another Prem job this season – found himself under increasing pressure after a barrage of bad results and in no mood to take a chance on new signings.

That situation has not improved under recently appointed Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese granted Lo Celso an 88th-minute substitute appearance in last weekend's 3-2 win over Bournemouth.

Now Marca say Lo Celso will look to the market in January for more game time, as it appears it will not be forthcoming under Mourinho.
