Irish Champions Weekend: Free bets, tips, dates and complete racecards for two-day Leopardstown showpiece

GET ready for a huge two days of action at Leopardstown and the Curragh over Irish Champions Weekend.

The action begins on Saturday, September 11 at Leopardstown and will feature clashes between some of the best horses on both sides of the Irish sea.

There are six Group 1 contests over the two days, with over €4.6million in prize-money on offer.

The big races

The standout race over the two days is Saturday's Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown.

This year's running promises to be spectacular, with top-classy filly Tarnawa and leading three-year-old colt St Mark's Basilica leading an all-star field.

On Sunday the Curragh hosts no less than four Group 1s, with the Cazoo Irish St Leger the marquee event.

Search For A Song has won the last two runnings of the prestigious stayers' contest and returns to defend his crown this season.
