Man Utd ace Juan Mata begs Paul Pogba and David de Gea to snub Real Madrid transfers – The Sun

JUAN MATA has begged Paul Pogba and David De Gea to stay at Manchester United.

The Spaniard insists his teammates are vital to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans this season.

But both have been linked with moves away before the transfer window shuts next month.

Pogba has been tipped for a return to old side Juventus, with Real Madrid also interested.

While De Gea is being eyed by Los Blancos and Paris Saint-Germain after entering the final year of his Red Devils deal.

However, Mata has urged both players to remain at Old Trafford this summer.

Mata said: “We all know Paul and he is a fantastic midfielder and a very good guy, very positive and a good influence for everyone.

“I think he is happy and brings everyone together, but I cannot speak for other people. I speak for myself.

“As a teammate and a friend I would like him to stay and be happy because he is a very good player for us.

“David is the best goalkeeper in the world and one of my best friends so I want him to stay.

“On a professional level, it would be great if he stays because he will give us many points over the next season, so I’m very happy if he stays.”
