Next Leicester manager – latest odds: Frank favourite if Rodgers is sacked, Pochettino, Dyche and Solskjaer in the mix | The Sun

BRENTFORD boss Thomas Frank is favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers as Leicester manager.

That's according to bookmakers Betfair, who've created their 'Next Manager' market for the top position at the King Power Stadium amid claims Rodgers will be relieved of his duties.

Leicester have endured a rotten start to the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

The Foxes, who finished eighth last year, sit rock-bottom of the division with one point from a possible 21.

They've suffered six straight top-flight defeats since earning a point on the opening day of the season.

During that run, Leicester have lost 4-2, 5-2 and 6-2 away from the King Power Stadium, conceding a league-high 22 goals overall.

In fact, 22 goals after seven matches is the most ever conceded in Premier League history after seven games.

The Foxes have kept just two clean sheets in 19 games, and conceded 25 set-piece goals since the start of last season.

The pressure is clearly mounting and Rodgers is favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his position.

But there's a problem.

Rodgers is one of the highest-paid managers in Britain on £10million-a-year, and it would cost Leicester £10m in severance pay to get rid of the 49-year-old.

If Leicester CAN afford to dismiss Rodgers, Frank is favourite to succeed him and SunSport understand he's top of their list of potential replacements.

Free agent Sean Dyche is next in the market at 5/2, ahead of former Southampton, Tottenham and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Rafa Benitez is priced at 17/2, while Southampton's Ralph Hasenhuttl (9/1) is the last at single-figure prices.
