Thursday night NFL best bets: Ravens at Dolphins

Week 10 of the NFL season kicks off Thursday with the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Miami Dolphins.

The Ravens are 6-2 and lead the AFC North, while the Dolphins (2-7) just notched their second win of the season last week against the Texans.

ESPN betting analysts Joe Fortenbaugh (33-18-1, 2-3 last week), Doug Kezirian (12-18-2, 1-4), Tyler Fulghum (8-19, 1-2) and Anita Marks (152-122, 13-18), sports betting deputy editor David Bearman (20-14-1, 3-2), Stats & Information’s Seth Walder 38-37 (4-3), Football Outsiders’ Aaron Schatz (33-20, 5-2) and fantasy/betting analyst Eric Moody (73-53, 17-10) have teamed up to offer their best bets.

Baltimore Ravens (-7.5, 46.5) at Miami Dolphins

Fortenbaugh: A Wink Martindale-led Baltimore defense facing a Miami outfit that currently ranks 28th in scoring and 30th in total offense? Sign me up, regardless of whether the Dolphins start Tua Tagovailoa or Jacoby Brissett at quarterback on Thursday night. Miami is 1-3 at home this season with a -39 point differential and a lone victory coming against a brutal Houston Texans team. Baltimore, meanwhile, should feast on the ground with the league’s top-ranked rushing attack (161.6 YPG) squaring off against the NFL’s 17th-ranked run defense (111.0 YPG). Take note that the Ravens are 9-0 ATS in their last nine games against the Dolphins and 6-0 ATS in their last six trips to Miami.
