FRANCESCO MOLINARI heads to the PGA Championship as he looks to win a major in the US for the first time.
Last year at Carnoustie, he became the first Italian ever to win The Open and, with his wife Valentina by his side he will be looking for more of the same this weekend.
Who is Valentina Molinari?
Valentina was born in Italy, like Francesco, but the pair now live in London.
The couple have been married since 2007 and on their 10th anniversary wrote a message on Instagram which said:

Francesco is a professional golfer from Italy.
He was born on November 8, 1982.
On July 23, 2018, he became the first Italian to win a Major at The Open in Carnoustie.
Francesco is a big West Ham fan.
How many children do the pair have?
The pair have two children, one boy and one girl.
It is known that their eldest child is called Tommaso but they have yet to announce the name of their daughter to the public.
Valentina used to travel to the tournaments with her husband but since having children, she no longer attends the tour.
Francesco has said that the pair often Skype while he is away so that he can keep up-to-date and see his children.
Despite this, Valentina was in attendance to see him win his first Majors trophy.

Molinari won his first Majors title at The Open in 2018 since turning professional in 2005.
His best result previously in the Majors came in the PGA Championships in 2017 when he finished second.
In his professional career he has eight wins including one PGA tour win just recently in July 2018 and five European Tour wins.
He is making his third appearance in the Ryder Cup in 2018, having previously been in the winning Europe side in 2010 and 2012.
