'90 Day Fiancé' Sneak Peek: Angela Deem Gets Emotional Over Her Mother Being in the Hospital

On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Angela Deem has finally married Michael Ilesanmi in Nigeria. It was an extremely happy moment full of laughter and love, but things are quickly overshadowed when Angela gets a phone call that she’ll never forget. Her daughter, Skyla, calls her to tell her that Angela’s mother is unresponsive, and the ambulance was called to Angela’s house. She’s clearly upset, and in a major rush to get back to the United States.

In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode, Angela gets ready for her return home, and it’s very emotional for her. She’s going through a lot, and her wedded bliss has been thrown aside by this terrible turn of events.

Angela Deem’s mother is in the hospital

Angela packs for her impending flight while still at Michael’s side. She tells him that she’s “stressed,” and honestly, who wouldn’t be in her position? Her mother is in the hospital, and it’s unclear how bad things are. She tells Michael that she doesn’t really know what happened, and she couldn’t really understand her daughter.

“I couldn’t understand her,” Angela says. “I didn’t know if she was passed.” Angela wipes her eyes, and it’s clear she’s been on a rollercoaster ride of emotions lately. Her mother’s future could be uncertain, and it’s a scary situation for anyone to be in.

“It was a rough night,” Angela tells the cameras. “Because I got a call from my daughter, Skyla, telling me my mom was unresponsive.” She relays that her daughter explained that the ambulance was going to take her to the intensive care unit.

Angela was finally able to get a flight back home, but it’s difficult. “I can’t sit still. I’m just wanting to get out of here, and go home and I’m going straight from the airport to my mom,” Angela explains.

Angela gets emotional over her mother being in the hospital

Angela recalls her mother saying that she would be there when she returned from Nigeria. “To hear this, maybe it’s my fault,” Angela says as she gets teared up and clearly emotional about the situation. “Because I see in my heart Skyla does a good job, but nobody can take care of her like me, and that’s just how I am.”

Angela knows her mother needs her, and she has a flight booked to get back there and see her. Michael puts Angela’s suitcase in his car. “I’m not thinking straight at this point,” Angela explains. “My mind’s all the way where my mom is, and I am scared of what’s waiting for me.”

Although it’s going to be hard to say goodbye to her new husband, Angela knows she’s needed back at home with her mother. They get to the airport, and prepare to say goodbye. Angela explains that her mother comes first right now, and Michael understands. Michael promises to be there for his wife, and they hug goodbye. Angela heads toward the plane, and back to her mother.

She tears up again talking about her mother

It’s clear to see why Angela is emotional about what’s going on with her mother. It’s a lot for anyone to handle, and she isn’t even in the same country right now.

“My biggest fear is, I won’t make it to my mom in time to tell her I love her,” Angela tells producers. “And I don’t know if she will ever get to meet Michael.” She tears up again at the thought, and it’s a very difficult time for Angela. Her mother is in the hospital, and she needs to focus on getting back to her as soon as possible.

Angela has been going through an extremely emotional and stressful time right now. We’ll have to wait to find out what happens in the last episode before the Tell All.
