But to many viewers, it seems as if Silva hasn’t changed much since her last spot on the show — in fact, she seems just as emotionally needy and effusive as ever. Meanwhile, her own date, Tom Brooks, seems to have a hard time expressing love or affection at all.
And the cherry on top is Silva’s recent outbursts during a trip to visit her sister Stacey, with Brooks in tow. Silva’s behavior turned out to be a huge turn-off for Brooks. Here’s what went down.
Darcey Silva behaves poorly with her sister
90 Day Fiancé fans felt embarrassed for Darcey Silva after some incredibly embarrassing behavior on a recent episode. It seems that Silva suffers from some serious jealousy issues when it comes to her sister, Stacey Silva.
The 90 Day Fiancé star exhibited obvious frustration that her sister was receiving plenty of affection from her partner, while Tom Brooks didn’t behave similarly. Darcey Silva is notoriously needy among 90 Day Fiancé viewers — she often seems to need affirmation of affection, whether verbal or physical. Meanwhile, Brooks doesn’t seem prepared to offer up the emotional commitment that Darcey Silva is looking for.
This was extremely apparent during Silva’s trip to visit her sister and her sister’s husband. Tom Brooks came along, despite wanting to go on a solo trip with Silva. During a boozy night out with Stacey and her beau, Florian, Darcey Silva’s behavior took a turn for the worse.
As Florian lavished love and PDA on Stacey Silva, Darcey became noticeably upset that she wasn’t receiving the same from Brooks, and was very vocal about it. The two sisters continued to take pot-shots at each other for the rest of their time together. It did not paint a pretty picture for Brooks, who already seems to be balking at the idea of an emotional commitment.
Does Tom Brooks struggle with opening up?
It’s become increasingly clear to both fans and Tom Brooks that Darcey Silva wears her heart on her sleeve, and is incredibly emotionally effusive. On the other hand, it seems as if the 90 Day Fiancé star might have a hard time opening up with his own emotions.
In a recent episode, Brooks admitted to his sister that he’s not ready to discuss love with Darcey Silva yet. He told her, “I’m not really at the stage of thinking where I’m going to settle down, get married, have kids, and move to her country or have her move here. I’m at the point where I’m meeting someone I’ve been really good friends with and I’m going to see where it goes.”
Brooks has also revealed that he’s been hurt in the past. He was engaged twice previously, and both times was left by his partner. He said, “Maybe I can’t commit because of the way things were in the past.”
Has Tom Brooks been out with another woman?
Meanwhile, it’s not entirely clear whether or not the couple will stay together after their season of 90 Day Fiancé. Darcey Silva has previously told Newsweek, “We’re very good. We’re very happy. Things have been amazing and some people might see it that way and some people might see it a different way.”
However, Tom Brooks was recently spotted in Milan with a woman who looked suspiciously like Darcey Silva. Perhaps he has a type.
Instagram account fraudedbytlc posted an image of Brooks and the blonde he was with, captioning it, “… He was allegedly recently seen spotted at a cafe in Milan with this definitely-not-Darcey beauty and there was most definitely a**-grabbing involved. Allegedly, there is another girl whom Tom was cheating on with this girl.”
While the image speaks for itself, the claims of infidelity and physical interaction can’t be verified at the moment. Brooks has claimed that the woman in the photo was merely his dancing partner at the event.
