Britney Spears dances to angry Michael Jackson anthem Scream amid legal battle with dad Jamie Spears

BRITNEY Spears she dances to Michael Jackson's Scream in cryptic Instagram post.

The 37 year old shared a video of her in a yellow crop top and striped shorts performing to the late musician's 1995 hit, on her Instagram account last night.

She captioned the post: "Me and Michael", and her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, swiftly took to the site to praise her. He commented: "Moves better than MJ."

The track playing in the background includes the lyrics "Tired of injustice, tired of the schemes", while the chorus chimes: "Stop pressurin' me".

The cryptic upload has sparked speculation Britney is addressing her current legal battle over the conservatorship of her affairs, which her father Jamie Spears and attorney have control over, as eagle eyed fans noticed the video was from 2018.

One commented: "This is from March 2018z Britney dropping some major hints with the song and Michael on her current situation or her team posting again as though it’s current. Just saying", another added: "The song she has chosen. Maybe she wants to scream?"

Michael Jackson's Scream lyrics

Tired of injustice
Tired of the schemes
Your lies are disgusting
What does it mean
Kicking me down
I gotta get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks

Peek in the shadow
Come into the light
You tell me I'm wrong
then you better prove you're right
You're sellin' out souls but
I care about mine
I've got to get stronger
And I won't give up the fight

With such confusion don't it make you wanna scream
You're bash abusing victimize within the scheme

You try to cope with every lie they scrutinize

Somebody please have mercy 'cause I just can't take it

Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream

Tired of tellin' the story your way
You're causin' confusion
You think it's okay
You keep changin' the rules
While you keep plain' the game
I can't take it much longer
I think I might go insane

With such confusion
Don't it make you wanna scream
Your bach abusin' victimize within the scheme

You find your pleasure scandalizing every lie
Oh father, please have mercy
'Cause I just can't take it

Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream

Oh my God, can't believe what I saw on the TV this evening
I was disgusted by all the injustice
All the injustice

With such delusions don't it make you wanna scream
You're bash abusin' victimize within the scheme

You try to cope with every lie they scrutinize
Oh brother please have mercy 'cause I just can't take it

Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream

The upload comes shortly after she was pictured laughing and smiling  as she drive around in the back of a black SUV yesterday.

The star was seen wearing a pink t-shirt, with her blonde hair let down and a sweep of black eyeliner as she rode in the vehicle.

Britney – who has sons Sean and Jayden with her former flame Kevin Federline – recently checked into a mental health facility for 30 days after she stopped taking her medication, shortly after she postponed rehearsals for her Vegas residency.

However, this week Britney told a court that Jamie had forced her into the unit in March and tried to make her take tablets against her will.

As part of Britney’s conservatorship, which was granted in 2008, Jamie has full control over her affairs.

But the ruling does not give him power to put Britney in a facility or medicate her without consent.

Britney's mum, Lynne, is now attempting to amend the conservatorship so she can take back some control for Britney.

An investigation is now underway, which will look into who manages Britney's affairs, including her finances, medical dealings and personal life.

In documents obtained by The Blast, a California judge has also ordered a probate court investigator to investigate the conservatorship, and Jamie who oversees it.

After pulling out of rehearsals earlier this year, it is unlikely the shows will go ahead at all.

Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, recently told TMZ: "As the person who guides her career, based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis, it's clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again."

Larry has insisted he wants Britney to focus on her mental health, even if it means the end of her singing career.

He added: "I don't want her to work again 'till she's ready, physically, mentally and passionately.

"If that time never comes again it will never come again."
