Broody Sheridan Smith reveals she's ready to have children with toyboy fiancé Jamie Horn after working with West End kids
SHERIDAN Smith has revealed she's ready to have children with her toyboy fiancé Jamie Horn.
The actress, 38, is feeling broody after working with kids on the cast of her West End show Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Sheridan, who has previously talked of her doubts about being a mum, told the Mirror: "I can’t tell you how much I love the kids.
"I am gonna miss them so much.
"They are all an utter joy and have made the whole experience for me.
“I will cherish the memories and watch their careers flourish.
"Me and Jamie now are thinking of making me a mamma.
"All thanks to these amazing souls.”
The Royle Family star spoke as she marked the end of her run in the hit musical – which finishes at the London Palladium this weekend.
She starred as the narrator alongside soap star Jason Donovan, 51.
Sheridan, who got engaged to City worker Jamie, 28, just three months after they met on Tinder, is happy living a quiet country life with him.
She spoke in March about her joy at living on a farm – but had previously "never pictured myself as a wife and mother".
And in June, the Gavin And Stacey star was asked if she was ready for kids.
She replied: "Could I cope? My mum [says] she knows I could.
“She watched me with my dad in the last days of his life and told me if I could be that caring I’d be a perfect mother.
“But I don’t know.
"I just know I’m not perfect.”
Sheridan previously credited getting away from London into the country for helping her overcome her boozy meltdown.
She said moving to the rural retreat with former insurance broker Jamie was a big help in recovering from the devastation of losing her dad Colin in December 2016.
Jamie popped the question with a £10,000 engagement ring and the couple shipped out to countryside, where they live with four goats and seven dogs.
