This Morning viewers were decidedly unimpressed today and branded an impressions game a "car crash" after suffering a number of blunders.

Impressionists Jon Culshaw and Jan Raven appeared on the ITV daytime to celebrate 20 years of comedy impressions show Dead Ringers.

Following their interview with hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, the pair went on to play a game which saw the hosts have to guess the impressions.

With Alison Hammond at the wheel, she spun it to land on various celebrities they had to impersonate.

But viewers were left raising their eyebrows after it landed on Simon Cowell and Jon proceeded to impersonate Donald Trump.

And some impressions left Eamonn and Ruth confused as they struggled to guess the celebrity.

One fan tweeted: "Erm , car crash tv #ThisMorning."

While another commented: "It landed on SIMON COWELL and he did a Trump impression!! WTF?!?! #ThisMorning."

A third remarked: "Have I lost the plot? I thought it landed on Simon Cowell first not Donald Trump #thismorning."

"Actually rather hilarious that they can’t guess who they’re ‘ impersonating’ #ThisMorning," another wryly remarked.

A fan exclaimed: "They were the worst impressions ever! #ThisMorning."

"This wheel's a waste of time #thismorning," another joked.

However some fans loved the game and found the impressions hilarious.

One tweeted: "#ThisMorning – Jon Culshaw and Jan Ravens – sorry Twitter , have to disagree as this couple have given me a good laugh today and Jan’s Perception of Theresa May walking as though she’s carrying a drip tray was spot on -loosen up everyone and have a great day!"
