Celebrity MasterChef 2019 line-up revealed – and there are some big names

EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt will join Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and Googlebox star Dom Parker in this year's Celebrity MasterChef, The Mirror can exclusively reveal.

Boxing promoter Kellie Maloney, 66, and heavyweight boxing champ Dillian Whyte, 31, will also feature alongside former footballing hardman Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, 51, and Olympian Greg Rutherford, 32.

Adam Woodyatt is no stranger to the kitchen – with his character, Ian Beale, running Kathy’s Cafe, Beale’s Plaice chippy and Walford East restaurant.

But can Adam, 50, cook up a storm in the kitchen and impress the expert presenters John Torode and Gregg Wallace?

He does have a secret weapon in Marco Pierre White, who trained Gordon Ramsay and went on to become a TV personality, thanks to shows such as Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef.

He and Ian are in business together with Marco selling Adam’s gin in his restaurants.

The actor founded Neat Gin with his wife Beverley two years ago.

Adam is the only original Enders cast member to have appeared continuously in the soap since 1985.

Now he will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of new EastEnders member Adrian Edmondson.

The Young Ones star, 62, who will play Jean Slater's love interest, won Celebrity MasterChef in 2013.

Celebrity MasterChef is due to air later this year.
