Chris Hemsworth pummels drug mobsters in new high-octane clip from Netflix’s Extraction – The Sun

A NEWLY released clip from the hotly anticipated Netflix film extraction has Chris Hemsworth fighting mobsters in the streets of Bangladesh.

In the clip, Chris, 36, and his nemesis fall off a building as they tussle, before continuing their fight in the street.

Showing off his comedic chops the actor reacts hilariously when the savage street fight is broken up when two men on a loaded up motorcycle ride between the two fighters.

In another new clip from the action film see Chris try to get assistance from his bosses as he is trapped in the jungle with the boy he is trying to save.

The intense scene has the same drug mobster hot their tails as their team try to figure out how to extract them.

In Extraction, Chris plays Tyler Rake who is sent to Bangladesh to rescue the kidnapped son of a drug lord.



It is set for release on April 24 on Netflix and sees Chris take on the role of a troubled black market mercenary.

The film's title was originally named Out of the Fire, before it was changed to Extraction on February 19, 2020.

The flick has had great reviews with critics raving about "one action sequence" as "impressive" and a "relentless showcase of craft and skill".

Directed by Sam Hargrave, Extraction is based on the comic Ciudad by Ande Parks.

Tyler has nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue Ovi (Rudraksh Jaiswal), the son of an imprisoned international crime lord who is kidnapped.

But in the murky underworld of weapons, dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy.

Hemsworth said: “Awakens something within Rake that he’s buried and pushed aside for many years, dragging up memories of his own son’s death, and forcing them to the forefront of his mind."

He is joined Derek Luke, who won the Independent Spirit Award for his big-screen debut performance in the 2002 film, Antwone Fisher, that was directed and produced by Denzel Washington.

Stranger Things' David Harbour also stars in Extraction.

Brother Joe and Anthony Russo – best known for their directing work on The Avengers Infinity War and Endgame films – are producing the thriller.
