Coronation Street spoilers: David Platt in danger as Nick Tilsley takes revenge?

Coronation Street is about to air its big week to coincide with the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals.

The coming episodes will centre on the Platt family’s big holiday which will see Nick Tilsley (played by Ben Price) finally exposed as the new soap super villain.

However, it won’t be an easy watch as Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) will find herself sadly as the victim of the piece when she discovers her grandson stole £80,000 from her.

What’s more, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is the one who will deliver the brutal news and the move could put him in danger from his older brother.

Jack recently spoke about the recent storyline and explained how there will definitely be consequences for David in the coming weeks.

The actor said: “[He doesn’t] throw Nick under the bus, but Nick started all this, so David thinks if he’s going down, he’s going to take Nick down with him.

“David doesn’t think he’s going to get away scot-free. There’s going to be consequences for the pair of them but he’s prepared to face that.”

What’s more, David’s bad ways have left him as he consistently feels the need to do the right thing.

The actor continued: “I think Nick is the more devious one these days.

“He’s the one trying to claw back something from the lie, he’s the one trying to push the blame on to David.

“He’s the one who’s still trying to get away with it whereas David is prepared to accept his fate.”

Furthermore, Jack explained how David doesn’t take the move to destroy Nick lightly.

The actor said: “He’s just sick of lying. He’s spinning all these plates in the air and he doesn’t want to do it anymore.

“He wants to get it all off his chest and into the open, try and repay Audrey and fix what he’s done before it’s too late.”

Jack went on: “The lies are eating him up.

“He knows he could go to prison but in his mind he deserves it and he’s prepared to face it so he can stop lying to his family.”

Elsewhere on Coronation Street, Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) could be arrested as Mary Taylor (Patti Claire) gets revenge.

The pair are about to get divorced but Mary isn’t too happy about it.

However, Norris is planning to wed devious Freda Burgess (Ali Briggs).

Will he be arrested for bigamy as Mary refuses to get the divorce?

Coronation Street airs weeknights on ITV at 9pm.
