Danny Dyer reignites feud with Olly Murs by calling his music 'really s***'

IT’S been a while since Danny Dyer flexed his muscles on Albert Square, so now the TV hardman is looking to start some argy-bargy with his fellow celebs.

The Cockney star has reignited his feud with Essex boy Olly Murs, almost six years after slamming The Voice coach live on Radio 1.

Danny slipped in the jibe as he spoke to his pregnant daughter, Love Island winner Dani Dyer, about her birthing plans.

He asked her: “Have you got a playlist? How about if you listened to some really s*** music and then that might help?

“Say you kick off with Olly Murs?”

Dani, whose due date is this month, replied: “Oh no, I don’t want anything like that.”

Danny first made his feelings about Troublemaker singer Olly known in March 2015, when he stopped Greg James from playing one of the star’s tracks during a visit to Radio 1.

He moaned live on air: “Do you have to play Olly Murs? Can you not play something else? Just pull a tune out?”

Danny stirred up more trouble on his Sorted With The Dyers podcast, when he nicknamed Dani’s unborn child with her stockbroker boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, “the chav”.

Asked if he would be on hand to support Dani through labour, Danny said: “As long as it’s nice and quick for you, it doesn’t matter if I’m in the waiting room or indoors with my feet up eating some crisps.”

Or having a scrap in a car park with a pop star.

Gwen's not stopping

GWEN Stefani is back with new single Let Me Reintroduce Myself, but even she admitted she was unsure whether anyone would want to hear more from her.

Asked if she had been told she was “too old” for pop, the former No Doubt frontwoman said: “I heard that from myself.

"This is the thing about age – there are days when you think you’re expired.

"Then there are other days where you’re like, ‘I’m not dead. Why stop now?’

“If you don’t like it then turn off the TV.”

Borat bites dust

SACHA Baron Cohen has retired his controversial Kazakhstani character Borat after the release of the sequel, Subsequent Moviefilm, last October.

He said of the hit release: “I brought Borat out because of Trump. There was a purpose to this movie, and I don’t see the purpose to doing it again.”

Sacha also said filming was so dangerous at times that he was told to wear a bulletproof vest during a right-wing rally.

He added: “There were moments when I thought, ‘Why the hell am I doing this?’”

No wonder he’s not in a rush to bring Borat back again.

Looks like a big Weeknd

WHEN The Weeknd sang Can’t Feel My Face, it could have been a precursor to the puffy look seen in his new video.

The clip for Save Your Tears shows the star with surgically enhanced features.

But thankfully he hasn’t gone under the knife – it’s just prosthetics.

The video, which premiered late on Tuesday, comes two months after The Weeknd attended the American Music Awards with fake bandages over his face.

In the four-minute clip, he jumps on tables and downs people’s drinks.

I probably wouldn’t recommend that with a pandemic going on.

Raye of delight

AFTER a string of her own hits, writing for Beyonce and starting a modelling career, singer Raye is now working on a film.

In an exclusive chat, she said: “I’m going to be writing something for a movie soon, which I’m really excited about.

“I’m going to be in it too. It’s going to be my first acting role.”

After the release of her brilliant mini-album Euphoric Sad Songs in November, Londoner Raye has been working with Cardi B and The Chainsmokers on new music, and added: “I’ve started scoring some BBC TV programmes where they’re going to let me compose the music.

“I’m really dipping my toes into all of these different worlds.”

Gemma: I will be a mum '21

GEMMA Collins has ambitious New Year aims, insisting she will be a married mum by the end of 2021, despite being currently single.

The reality TV star said: “How will I feel about 2021 this time next year?

"I hope I’m married, I hope I have a baby this year. I feel it’s going to happen.

“My main focus will be to really be comfortable being Gemma Collins and definitely committing and giving quality time to a relationship and hopefully I’m going to have a baby.

“This year I’m going to be turning 40 which is going to be a massive milestone for me. I just feel this year could be the making of me.”

Speaking on The Gemma Collins Podcast on BBC Sounds, she added: “There’s lots of things I want to do this year.

"I want to audition for a movie. Hollywood, I’m available – just give me a call.”

I bet Margot Robbie is quaking in her boots.
