David Beckham shocks fans with 'grown-up' photo of Harper, 9, on 'date night' with him and Victoria

DAVID Beckham shocked fans with a "grown-up" photo of nine-year-old daughter Harper as he and wife Victoria treated her to a "mummy and daddy date night".

The 45-year-old star gushed about his youngest child in the sweet snap from their intimate dinner, which he posted yesterday evening.

Taking to his Instagram page, the former footballer wrote: "Pretty girl date night with Mummy & Daddy ?? @victoriabeckham #HarperSeven ?"

In the photo, Harper is smiling coyly at the camera, with part of her brunette hair styled into a French plait.

She is wearing a floral high-neck top, accessorising with flower earrings and a delicate pink necklace.

David's followers were surprised by the post, with many commenting on how "grown up" the little girl looked.

One wrote: "Lovely picture of a lovely girl, who is growing up far too fast."

A second shared: "Wow, she's growing into a beautiful young lady."

A third gushed: "She is looking so grown up! I remember when she was a little baby!!"

Earlier in the day, Harper had enjoyed a "girls' day" with big brother Brooklyn's fiancee Nicola Peltz and mum Victoria.

Nicola called her future sister-in-law her "little sister" in a fun photo taken in the dressing room of Victoria's designer fashion store.

In the snap, the stunning American is flashing a peace sign in a dressing room, while Harper smiles at the camera.

Nicola captioned the post: "Had the best girls' day with my little sister.

"@VictoriaBeckham your store is a dream."

Nicola previously called Harper her "favourite girl ever" in a sweet birthday post when she turned nine.

Sharing a photo of herself cuddling up the birthday girl, she wrote at the time: "Happy birthday to my favourite girl ever.

"I love you so much Harper Seven."

Nicola and Brooklyn announced their engagement earlier this month, and appeared to share photos from the proposal on Instagram this week.

The loved-up pair appear to be fighting back tears in the personal photos, with one snap showing Nicola wrapping her arms around her beaming billionaire dad Nelson.

The US actress has been warmly welcomed by the Beckham clan, joining them on an Italy holiday and sharing family photos with Brooklyn's grandparents to her social media page.
