Duggar family's rebel cousin Amy bares her shoulders wearing a sundress as she breaks the strict dress code

THE rebellious cousin of the Duggar family, Amy, once again went against her family's strict rules for dressing.

Amy, 37, dared to bare her shoulders in a flowing maxi dress as she paid tribute to fallen troops on Memorial Day.

The Duggar family observes a strict dress code that usually only permits women to dress modestly and to only wear skirts or dresses.

Counting On's patriarch Jim Bob Duggar and matriarch Michelle Duggar adhere to stringent rules for their Christian lifestyle, including not allowing womento show their legs or dress in a revealing manner.

But Amy did not bother following family rules in the Memorial Day Instagram post which she teamed with a photo of hundreds of small, American flags.

She captioned the post: "We don’t know them all, but we owe them all. It really hits home to think about how each flag represents a soul, a spouse , a parent, a son or daughter, a friend , a lover. A HERO. Who sacrificed their life for us. Forever grateful."

Fans loved her tribute and heaped praise on the rebellious Duggar cousin.

"Love your dress where did you get it at," wrote one Instagram user.

Another added: "Beautiful," while a third said, "beautifully said, thank you!!!"

Amy has also been seen in gym shorts, strapless tops, and jeans, in defiance of the family strict dress code alongside her cousins, Jessa, Jill and Jinger.

But it's not only in dress that Amy dares to defy her famous family.

She recently revealed she was "not afraid to speak her mind" on her famous family and called her cousin Josh Duggar's porn arrest "evil."

Josh, 33, has been charged with receiving and possessing child porn, some of which included about 65 images and one video of child porn of minors between the ages of five and 10.

His wife Anna is currently six months pregnant with their seventh child, and he has been required to live away from the family as he is not allowed to be around minors.

Amy, who shares 1-year-old Daxton with her husband Dillon King, said she’s “worried” about Josh’s six kids.

The 19 Kids and Counting alum mentioned having regrets about discovering the 2015 allegations that Josh molested five underage girls in the family home.

Sisters Jill, 30, and Jessa, 28, came forward as victims.

Amy continued: ”I wish I would have known about what was happening. I did not know anything about the whole Josh situation the first time.

“We were told that he went to camp… I definitely didn’t know."

She added: “My heart goes out to all those innocent, sweet victims… It breaks my heart.

“I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served.”

The 19 Kids and Counting On alum added she regrets ever having been part of the family’s TLC show after both Josh’s arrests.

As a mother of a 2-year-old infant, Amy described the difficulty of having to “look at [her] little guy” while thinking about Josh’s child porn charges.

The TV personality explained: “My heart and my brain cannot comprehend that. It blows my mind.

“It’s heartbreaking and disgusting and evil. It’s so evil. I want nothing to do with it."
