Emmerdale’s Liv to expose Paul as Vinny dumps her after deadly ultimatum
Emmerdale favourite Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) plans to expose Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale) in upcoming scenes after Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) dumps her.
Paul is currently keeping a horrifying secret from his wife-to-be Mandy (Lisa Riley), he’s been abusing their son Vinny.
The youngster has kept quiet about his dad attacking him, knowing it would destroy his mother.
Paul brutally assaults his son and leaves him hospitalised in upcoming scenes after Vinny confronts him about his kidnapping.
Fans know that Paul set up his own fake kidnapping in order to swindle his son Vinny’s girlfriend Liv out of her inheritance.
Vinny tells Liv about the inconsistencies in his dad’s kidnapping story and it quickly becomes clear to Vinny that his dad could be lying.
At the stag do, Vinny tells Paul he’s seen the van he was kidnapped in around the scrapyard.
Paul panics and makes a call to Connor but Vinny overhears the call and realises that Paul wasn’t kidnapped.
He discovers that Paul arranged the kidnapping in order to con Liv out of her inheritance.
When Vinny declares he’s going to tell Mandy the truth, Paul turns violent again on his son.
A terrified Vinny backtracks as an unhinged Paul walks towards him.
One punch leads to another and Paul is pummelling his son to the ground where he viciously beats him.
Vinny lies unconscious on the floor with blood trickling from his mouth and Paul's convinced he’s killed him.
Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that Paul’s panicked to hear from Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that Liv’s already at the hospital and has called the police about Vinny’s attack.
At the hospital, Vinny’s on the verge of confessing all to the police when he sees Paul approaching and clams up leaving the officers unable to proceed.
When Paul criticises Liv for calling the police, she becomes suspicious.
Determined to stick up for Vinny, she insists they do something and questions Paul’s inaction.
Aware of Paul’s rising anger towards her, Vinny tells her to leave, and Paul’s pleased to have driven a wedge between them.
The next day, under the influence of Paul, Vinny has discharged himself from hospital.
When Liv arrives at the Dingles’, Vinny’s wary to be alone with her.
Cagey Vinny tries to stick to Paul’s story but panics when Liv mentions loan shark Connor.

Before suspicious Liv can probe any further, Paul returns and tells Vinny to get Liv off their backs, or else.
Fearful for Liv’s safety, Vinny ends their relationship. Liv is shocked and heartbroken but her distress turns into determination to find Connor and discover what he knows.
