Helen Flanagan says son Charlie ‘will not eat’ as she shares parenting fear and asks fans for help

HELEN Flanagan has said that her son Charlie "will not eat" and has asked fans for their advice.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to see if she could gets any handy tips from other parents.


Since welcoming her baby boy into the world last year, Helen has loved being honest and open about life as a mum-of-three.

Helen, who also shares Matilda, six, and three-year-old Delilah with fiance Scott Sinclair, recently revealed she only bathes her son three times a week due to his eczema.

But now she's struggling to make sure he gets all the nutrients he needs.

Helen told her 1m followers: "Charlie will just not eat I'm going to take him to a specialist this week.

"He eats nothing and I'm still feeding him like he's six months.

"I've tried not feeding him with milk so he'll eat more but he just has no interest in food and he just wants the boob."

However she explained that Charlie's older sister acted exactly the same way.

She added: "Matilda was exactly the same though when she was a baby and fine now so that eases me.

"If other mums have had this please message me. I'll share the messages x."

It comes just days after the former Corrie star admitted that she's done having children as she opened up about breastfeeding her son.

Helen welcomed Charlie into the world on March 25 2021 – when Scott was celebrating his 32nd birthday.

Helen weighed up the pros and cons in an Instagram post – and went on to reveal she that doesn't plan on having any more kids.

The former Rosie Webster actress said: "1 year of feeding you my precious baby boy ✨.

"I’m not too sure when our feeding journey will come to an end… I am thinking I will keep nursing through the summer.. I think it’s a comfort to him with his teething… it’s great for flying to calm him.

"I love breastfeeding as I like the bonding ( I know you can bond with your babies in lots of ways Ofcorse)

"I like that it’s just something that I can do and that my baby needs just me.

"He’s likely my last baby and I want to soak this all up. I feel quite emotional about stopping.

"My hormones are stable when I breastfeed and I love not having a period and pms x.

"I love looking down and seeing his cute little face and big brown eyes… I think it calms me if I feel anxious."

But she then went on to explain why she's excited to stop.

Helen: "Though I miss… Being able to have more time on my own with Scott.

"Being on my own ( not for a long period I suppose just having more freedom)

"Being able to take the girls for one and one trips on their own.

"I would say having perky boobs but that’s a long time gone now ?."

Helen and footballer Scott got engaged in 2018 after nine years of dating.

They welcomed Matilda into the world in 2015, who was followed by Delilah three years later.
