ITV The Masked Singers Mo Gillian says 2022 series will blow your mind

The Masked Singer judge Mo Gillian has promised that the new series of the ITV show will “blow your mind” as fans prepare for a third season to launch in 2022.

Appearing on BBC’s The One Show, Mo told hosts Jermaine Jenas and Lauren Laverne that season three of the wacky singing show is going to be one to remember.

"This series is amazing," the comedian teased. "Like, it's– like, the levels have upped. The people that are on it are doing things that are really gonna blow your minds.

"You guys are really gonna enjoy it. It's really good."

Fans will first get to enjoy a Christmas special of the show later this month.

Mo praised the unpredictability of the show for appealing to "everyone" after admitting that he had no idea who a-ha lead singer Morten Harket was when Viking was unmasked in season two,

"That's the beautiful thing about the show, there's something for everyone of all age groups," he said, brushing off Morten's awkward reveal.

"People get revealed who I grew up watching, and there are some people that my mum would watch.

"That's what I love about being part of the show and being a detective, as well. It's a lot of fun."

Joel Dommett will be hosting The Masked Singer's upcoming ten-day arena tour across the UK in 2022 which will comprise of ten shows and kick off in Liverpool on April 2.

The actor and TV presenter, who also hosts the ITV show, said: “This tour is going to be absolutely incredible. I’m so thrilled to be hosting proceedings, as we bring all the excitement and drama of the TV series live to an arena near you.

“And being in arenas means it’s going to be bigger than ever. I’m excited to see who the different celebrities are at every show.

“I don’t know their identities, so I’ll be guessing along with the arena audiences. I can’t wait to get this show on the road in April, it’s going to be epic.”

Shows will be held in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester, with tickets now on sale.

The TV show sees famous contestants don elaborate costumes as they sing in front of a celebrity panel of Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, who try to figure out their identities.

Jonathan Ross recently said: "We’re doing a third series, and I’m doing the third series. And I shouldn’t speak about who the other judges are but you’re not going to be surprised.“
