Katie Price's horror as Harvey smashes ALL his classroom windows and 'chucks chairs' after being scared by slamming door

KATIE Price has revealed that her son Harvey smashed all the windows in his classroom and would chuck chairs after being scared by slamming doors.

The former glamour model, 43, opened up about what happened in her latest book Harvey and Me.

Katie explained: "Harvey always likes to be in control of a situation.

"So at school, he made sure everybody knew he hated the doors banging. He had them wrapped around his little finger.

"They even had signs around the whole school saying, 'Please shut the doors quietly.' But that didn't stop him from kicking off.

"He once smashed all the windows in his classroom and kicked down the emergency exit door on many occasions."

She added: "A lot of his peers were wheelchair-bound, so there'd be lots of children who weren't able to get out of the way if Harvey did flip and throw a chair or something."

The 19-year-old has severe autism, a rare complex genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome and is partially blind.

Back in July Harvey graduated from school and started to get ready to head off to college.

Katie shared a picture of the lad in a blue gown and mortar board hat as he received a special certificate to mark the end of his school year.

The mum-of-five wrote on Instagram: "Words cannot describe how proud I am of my son @officialmrharveyprice for his graduation he has come so far and further than any doctor or my family thought.

"He is now 19 ready to go to college fir his next chapter in life , he makes me so proud and is a massive credit to myself knowing how well I’ve done bringing him up on my own ❤️❤️❤️."

Alongside the picture of him receiving his award, she wrote: "Harvey so happy with his certificate for graduating ❤️He is just so amazing my absolute life soul and joy ❤️❤️."

Now that Harvey is over 18, he has moved into a full time residential college called National Star College, based in Cheltenham.

The pair documented their search for the perfect institute on the BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me.

He will live there for the next six years to help him gain his own independence and grow into a young man with the support that he needs.

But despite moving away, Katie has confessed that her eldest will "always need his mum".

She recently told New Magazine: "I hope like any mum with a child with a severe, complex disability, that Harvey will be able to live a full and independent life.

"But I know Harvey best and I know he will always need his mum. I will always encourage him to be independent and continue his journey in an environment I think he will thrive in.

"What happens next for Harvey is a decision myself and my family will need to discuss in time, but for now I'm just happy he's enjoying his time at National Star College."

Katie is also mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with ex husband Peter Andre.

The media personality also has Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, from her previous relationship with Kieran Hayler.
