Love Island villa ‘put in quarantine’ after crew are ‘hit with violent vomiting bug’
The Love Island villa has reportedly been put "in quarantine" after being hit by a violent vomiting bug.
Producers of the hit ITV2 show are thought to be doing everything they can to stop the contestants from contracting norovirus after a number of members of the crew were struck down.
Norovirus, which can be spread by kissing, is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea, with symptoms starting within one to two days of infection.
An insider close to the show said: "If the virus reaches the contestants then it could bring the show to a halt for three or four days.

"Nobody is going to watch them throwing up or having the s****."
It is believed the infection first spread around the show's hair stylists who reported stomach cramps which quickly turned into serious sickness, leaving them need to stay "within seconds of a toilet."
Medical experts are now investigating where the virus originated with those infected being ordered to stay in their hotel rooms.
It is thought that crew members have been stopped from shaking hands or kissing, and everybody has been given a medical pack which includes probiotics and rehydration packs.
Sanitation points and hand wash area have been placed around the villa to help battle the bug from getting to the show's stars.
The source continued to tell The Sun Online: "Everything is being done to quarantine the villa from the outside world so that bug doesn't get in.
"There was a similar crisis in Season One so people know what to do."
On Thursday night, two new boys will enter the villa in an attempt to steal the girls away from their current couples.
Cardiff-based model Connagh Howard has revealed he has his eye on Shaughna Phillips, Sophie Piper and Siânnise Fudge, which is bound to stir things up as Sophie is coupled up with Connor Durman and Siânnise is with Nas Majeed, despite admitting she doesn't feel a spark.
