Mel B's ex-stylist 'files lawsuit against her as he claims she owes him over $200,000'

MEL B'S ex-stylist Gary Madatyan is filing a lawsuit against the former Spice Girl, claiming that she owes him over $200,000 (£160,000), according to reports.

The 44-year-old star looks set to face yet another court battle following her highly-publicised divorce from ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

US court documents see Mel accused of refusing to return the huge sum that she borrowed when using Gary's credit card – and not giving him a proper salary during the two years he worked for her.

The Mirror also report that Gary plans to publicly spill the beans next week, with a source revealing that he is "livid" with the singer's treatment of him.

They told the publication: "Gary is planning to talk to US media about his experiences working with Mel.

"He is so livid about how he feels Mel treated him. He is going on US TV to speak."

Belafonte appears to have alluded to Gary's bombshell claims earlier this summer.

He teased that "something is coming" that will expose his ex wife.

Speaking at a fundraiser in LA, the film producer said: "Something is coming which reveal things about Mel, which she may not want people to know about. I cannot say too much.

"I will not be writing a book. I had offers but I am not interested. I don’t need everything out there for the public to realise what happened to me.

"A lot of s**t goes on in life, people say things and do things, but the truth always comes out."

Mel – who heaped praise on Gary in her Brutally Honest documentary – previously accused her ex husband of beating and sexually exploiting her.

She was granted a restraining order from Belafonte, forcing him to stay away from the star and her three daughters.

The pair ended their legal battle in 2017 after they reached a private deal with lawyers following a marathon eight-month court battle.

The Sun Online have contacted Mel's reps for comment.
