Shia Labeouf removed from Netflix's awards campaign for his film Pieces Of A Woman after FKA Twigs' abuse lawsuit

SHIA Labeouf has been removed from Netflix's awards campaign for his drama, Pieces Of A Woman, after FKA Twigs' abuse claims against him.

FKA claimed she was in an "emotionally, physically and sexually abusive relationship" with Shia, 34, in a lawsuit filed on December 10.

Shia no longer appears on Netflix's awards website for Pieces Of A Woman, despite having a lead role in the upcoming drama.

The actor – who is currently dating Margaret Qualley – is nowhere to be found on the movie's For Your Consideration page.

Netflix has named every actor starring in the film aside from Shia in their synopsis of the drama.

Pieces Of A Woman star Vanessa Kirby is still campaigning for Best Actress awards and six other actors are being pushed for supporting categories.

Shia and Vanessa play married couple Martha and Sean in the drama, in which Martha has a home birth with complications and later has to face the midwife in court.

It comes out in selected theaters on December 30 and will drop on Netflix starting on January 7.

FKA has accused Shia in a shocking lawsuit of choking her, deliberately giving her an STD, and inflicting emotional abuse on her.

According to New York Times, Twigs claimed the Transformers star abused her "physically, emotionally, and mentally many times in a relationship that lasted just short of a year."

The singer, 32, and the troubled actor, were together for a year until they split in 2019.

FKA has accused Shia in a shocking lawsuit of choking her, deliberately giving her an STD, and inflicting emotional abuse on her.

According to the lawsuit obtained by the New York Times, Twigs claimed the Transformers star abused her "physically, emotionally, and mentally many times in a relationship that lasted just short of a year."

The singer, 32, and the troubled actor, were together for a year until they split in 2019.

His alleged behavior was a far cry from that early on in their romance, as he once showed "over-the-top displays of affection".

Shia reportedly threatened to expose FKA's private text messages to “terrorize” and “embarrass” her if she spoke out about the actor’s alleged abuse.

The Sun previously reported that FKA claimed Shia “knowingly transmitted a serious illness to her, without ever informing her beforehand that he suffered from this dreadful malady”.

Robert Pattinson's ex-fiancee claimed she began to experience “unusual and painful physical symptoms” around March 2019.

When she confronted Shia about her symptoms, he “admitted that he suffered from a sexually transmitted disease which had been diagnosed years earlier.”

FKA's boyfriend, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, praised her after she came forward with the claims.

Shia said in response to the claims: "I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years.

"I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."

After FKA came forward with her allegations, Sia made her own claims about Transformers actor Shia.

The Australian singer tweeted: "I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single.

"I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away."

Shia appeared in Sia's music video for Elastic Heart in 2015 alongside then 13-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler.
