Where is Frank on American Pickers?
AMERICAN Pickers’ Frank Fritz raised concerns among his viewers after they realized he had lost a significant amount of weight between seasons.
He addressed the rumors of what was happening to him on Facebook but also revealed that he was focused on dieting and exercising as well.
Where is Frank on American Pickers?
Frank Fritz from History channel’s American Pickers revealed on social media in 2013 that he was battling Crohn’s disease.
Frank had taken a break during seasons 8 and 9 and took to Facebook to explain his absence, writing: “A lot of you have been wondering about my health and my weight loss.
"I have an illness called Crohn’s [disease], which at times is difficult to deal with. I started losing weight and ran with it!
Adding: "I have been exercising and eating good… Thanks for all of your kind words of concern! I couldn't do what I do without all of you!"
During the coronavirus lockdown restrictions, it was believed that Frank was quarantining in LeClaire, Iowa and tending to the other Antique Archaeology store.
Frank’s partner in the series, Mike Wolfe, revealed that Frank was getting back surgery, though it is unclear for what.
He has yet to appear in the show's new season.
Why did Danielle Colby leave American Pickers?
Danielle Colby, the shop manager on American Pickers, is still listed as a cast member on the show's website and is featured in the new season.
However, she did not hint at being part of the show for much longer and said during an interview in 2012 that “one never knows what will happen in the future."
"I highly doubt that Antique Archaeology is the last job I'll ever have in my life, though it is definitely the coolest job I've had to date.
"It all depends on when my time there has run its course. I have an obligation to Mike who put me in the position I'm in right now, and I'll respect that 'til the end.
"My plan is just to stick around and see what happens. But I have a contract, and I'll of course honor that contract. I guess that's a sugar-coated way of saying I'd love a spin-off."
Some have speculated recently that Colby, who is 44, will get her own series.

The new season of American Pickers premiered on January 25 and 9pm ET on the History Channel.
