Le Creuset is often considered the best of the best in enameled cookware, but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. The standard 5.5 quart dutch oven will run you $350, and while last week we reported on the Le Creuset sale happening at Macy’s, there’s yet another way to get the style for less.
AmazonBasics is currently selling two enameled cookware pieces that look nearly identical to Le Creuset and cost five times less.
AmazonBasics Enameled Cast Iron Covered Dutch Oven, $39.99 – $59.99

This Dutch oven comes in four fun colors, including blue, green, red and white, each available in three sizes: 4.3 quarts, 6 quarts and 7.3 quarts. The dutch oven retails between $39.99 and $59.99, depending on size and color.
The Dutch oven is made of cast iron, which creates an even heat distribution for optimal cooking and is oven-safe up to 400° F. It comes with two loop side handles and a fitted lid for easy transportation, and you can also use it to marinate food and store leftovers.
AmazonBasics Enameled Cast Iron Covered Casserole Skillet, $49.99 – $52.88

The covered casserole skillet is 3.3 quarts and comes in the same four colors as the Dutch oven, so you could ideally get both and have a matching set. Comparably, Le Creuset items can withstand a little more oven heat and wear and tear, and come with a lifetime warranty, as opposed to AmazonBasic’s one-year warranty.
