At least 34 killed in devastating crash as packed bus hits lorry and bursts into flames in Algeria | The Sun

A TERRIFYING bus crash has killed at least 34 people and injured 12 after a horror collision.

The bus crashed into a commercial vehicle and burst into a blaze of flames on a highway in Algeria – with the final death toll still unconfirmed.




The collision early on Wednesday morning led to another bus and car catching alight, authorities in the region confirmed.

Algerian traffic monitoring channel, Info Trafic Algerie, claimed the crash began when the bus struck a "utility vehicle" at around 4am.

Authorities revealed the crash took place in Atoll in Tamanrasset state – where the condition of the wounded is currently unknown.
