Dad-of-four caught touching himself in front of horrified shoppers in Home Bargains
A PERVERT faces jail after he was caught performing a sex act on himself in front of horrified shoppers in a Home Bargains store.
Eugenio De Freitas, 52, was seen by shocked members of staff touching himself underneath his clothing in the town centre shop.
A court heard the dad-of-four told police his hand was down his trousers because he had shaved his privates.
But Portuguese national De Freitas pleaded guilty to outraging public decency when he appeared at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday.
He also admitted breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order imposed in October 2012.
JPs decided their sentencing powers were insufficient so remanded De Freitas in custody until his sentencing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
The court heard the perv was caught performing the sex act in Home Bargains in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs., at 4pm on February 1.

Mike Kimberley, defending, said De Freitas has now been served with a deportation notice.
The court heard De Freitas has several similar previous convictions including performing a sex act on himself in Sainsbury's in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
