Third officer from same police station faces disciplinary action over sex exploits in the space of just two weeks

A THIRD officer from the same police station faces disciplinary action over sex exploits in the space of just two weeks.

Det Con Damien Cotgreave is accused of spending an hour romping with a woman at her house when he should have been working.

The officer is also said to have sent obscene pictures and smutty messages to a dozen women while on duty at what is now being dubbed Britain’s randiest cop shop.

It comes days after Sgt Rob Adams kept his job but got a final warning for sticking a photo of a female officer’s head on a nude porn pic.

Days earlier, Det Sgt Paul Elrick got a final warning for pinging a ruler across the bottom of a female colleague.

All three worked in Hastings, East Sussex.

One local said: “The police have high standards of behaviour expected of them.

“It’s as if Sussex Police missed that memo and some officers are acting like it’s the 1970s still.”

Cotgreave, 45, faces a hearing this month.

It is claimed he went to the woman’s house “for a non- policing purpose, and engaged in sexualised behaviour”.

He has resigned but could be barred from serving again.
