Total stranger leaves heartwarming note and £10 on train to help mum travelling with her baby girl
A MUM has thanked a total stranger after he gave her £10 and a sweet note telling her to add it to her daughter's university fund.
The man, dressed in a suit, approached the woman who was with her nine-month-old daughter while they were riding on a train in Sydney, Australia.
The handwritten note read: "This is not a gift. It is an investment. Please let your baby know that an old aboriginal man invested $20 to her college fund."
Shocked by the sweet gesture, she uploaded the snap to Reddit, which lead to users praising the man for his act of kindness.
"That man invests in the young way better than the governments.
"The road will be long and steep but tell her there are people along the way kind enough to help."
Another said: "This is a very good message and an example. This needs more attention."
This isn't the only example of something small making a huge difference to someone else's day.
